America’s got some s’plainin’ to do

In a new Quinnipiac poll, 33% of Americans rated President Obama as the worst President since the 1945 war.

Former President George W. Bush came close with 28%.

“Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

However, since the last global conflict, 35% of respondents rated Ronald Reagan as the best president. Bill Clinton came second with 18% followed by John Kennedy with 15%.

The Quinnipiac University Poll is directed by Douglas Schwartz, Ph.D., and it conducts public opinion surveys in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, Colorado and the nation as a public service and for research.

Would Mitt Romney have been a better president? 45% of voters say yes.
