Piano Phones and Mobile Drums
The cell phones that come out of Japan never cease to amaze. So it really should come as no surprise that, in our Guitar Hero addicted world, cell phones and “air” instruments would collide. For the composer and artist on-the-go, Yahama has produced a set of crazy concept instrument/cell phones.
And yes, they actually work. Check out the videos.

Yamaha Shows Off The ’09s
A few of us recently attended the Yamaha showcase in NYC. The new R1 promises to be faster and lighter and has a few upgrades like a fancy new engine with a crossplane crankshaft - more linear power, improved throttle control and twin projector headlights.
