Tupac Spotted, Live and Well
We all know whenever a rapper says they’re “retiring” that they’ll be back with a new album in a year. And since a TMZ paparazzo recently caught some pics of a guy looking eerily similar to Pac partying it up in a New Orleans’ club, we guess it means whenever a rapper is shot and killed they’ll be back in 13. Legal Battle Over Tupac Biopic

Last month production company Morgan Creek filed a lawsuit against Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur Amaru claiming she backed out of a deal after promising to sell the company rights to the late rapper’s life story.

Books: How To Survive Puberty At 25

Journalist Nina Bhadreshwar’s book How to Survive Puberty at 25 is a memoir, a diary and a piece of Hip-Hop history. Nina B tells her whole story, from her childhood struggles with family and anorexia in England, to her crazy years living in a gang neighborhood in South Central, LA while she worked for Suge Knight and Death Row Records. There, she became part of the Death Row Family of artists and executives, including Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur, even corresponding with Pac (that’s a letter from him pictured) when he was in jail. Sensing that shit was about to hit the fan, Nina left Death Row in 1996, just months before Tupac’s murder.

Left Eye’s Legacy

It was a bittersweet, if not long overdue, celebration at Citrine in NYC on November 20 as friends and family of the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes gathered to listen to her posthumous album Eye Legacy.
Mass Appeal Entertainment and Left Eye’s mother and sisters hosted the event, grabbing the mic and addressing the crowd every few songs.
Eye Legacy is a nice combination of unreleased originals and tracks pairing Left Eye’s vocals with contemporary beats, giving the album an overall current sound.
