The Cleveland Show Is Coming

The highly anticipated spinoff to Seth MacFarlane’s “Family Guy” is almost here. “The Cleveland Show” will star Peter Griffin’s portly, slow-speaking neighbor as he moves to the fictional town of Stoolsbend, Virginia and marries his high school sweetheart, Donna (voiced by Sanna Lathan). The show will also star Reagan Gomez-Preston (”The Parent Hood”, T.I.’s “Whatever You Like) accomplished voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson, and includes a guest appearance from Kanye West. Kanye Visits Cleveland

Mr. West has been tagged to lend his voice to Fox’s new Family Guy spinoff, The Cleveland Show. Kanye will play “Kenny West” an aspiring rapper, in an episode to air during the shows debut season in 2010.

The show’s producers reached out to after Kanye, a Family Guy fan, after he wrote on his blog that he was excited about the spin-off.

The Cleveland Show will feature the adventures of Peter Griffin’s neighbor Cleveland as he moves to VA, marries his high school sweetheart and becomes a step father to a rebellious 15 year-old and a 5 year-old ladies man. The Cleveland Show will be one of the few sitcoms to debut in 2010 featuring an African American household.
