An Open Letter To Joe Budden and Raekwon
I’m writing the both of you coming from a few different perspectives. As a fan, as a media source and as someone who knows what brilliant artists the both of you (as well as your associated crews) are. I wouldn’t overstep my bounds and say I know either of you on a personal level, but I have had the privilege of having short convos with the both of you about what should be the focus of attention around you two; your music. I’ve heard “Slaughterhouse” and “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2″ and I have to say that these records are without a doubt bringing back that real, lyrical Hip-Hop that I personally miss. The Source having chosen both of you for our Lyrical Takeover feature in this months issue should be a clear sign that you have something that the game is missing, and to keep it 100 with everyone involved, that’s where the focus needs to be right now.

Joe And Meth Bite The Bullet, Dead Beef at Rock The Bells
With Joe Budden’s mouth and his aggressive opinions he’s been in a whirlwind of conflict, possibly attracting more bad press then good. Unfortunately things got taken out of context, media got involved and friends came to the defense of their brethren. What manifested was the beginning of a beef that had the talent and heart to become monumental as well as possibly dangerous for the newer Slaughterhouse.
