R.Kelly Responds To Internet Statutory Rape Allegations

A representative of R. Kelly released the following statement in response to an inaccurate report on MediaTakeout about a supposed police search of his house in the Chicago suburb of Olympia Fields.
“A wildly exaggerated and inaccurate report has been circulating on the Internet that Olympia Fields police showed up at R. Kelly’s house with a search warrant just before the singer left for his three-week concert tour in Africa last month and then searched the place looking for a missing 17-year-old girl.

“This is completely false. No police ever showed up at Kelly’s house with a search warrant nor was his house ever searched. It is also not true, as the unsubstantiated report claimed, that any such girl ever stayed overnight in Kelly’s house or that she had been there but left shortly before some mythical police search.

“Kelly’s attorneys will cooperate fully with any investigation.”

Jeezy Clears Up Stabbing Rumors

Last night an incident transpired at Club Lucky in Atlanta, where Jeezy was present celebrating Drama’s Anniversary party. It was said that Jeezy and members of his camp had checked into Grady Memorial Party following the incident with serious injuries including stab wounds. RapRadar was able to catch up with the Snowman, and get his own response regarding the word in the streets. The whole idea of being injured and mobbed on seemed funny to Jeezy, and his gangsta demeanor transpired in the exclusive.

Are Usher and Tameka Finished?

We’ve heard this story before. Rumors have always swirled around the marraige between R&B superstar Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster. However, rumors are now swirling that the couple have been living apart from reach other for the past year. Usher has also rarely been seen with his wife and has been spotted with another mystery woman. Sources are saying that Usher’s main concern is his children and has been quoted mentioning that he wants to be the father to his kids that he never had. It is being reported however that Usher filed for divorce this morning in Atlanta. More news on this story as it develops.

Nas Says No To ‘Janky Promoters’

Nas blamed his no-show at a Newfoundland concert this past Thursday (May 28) on “janky” Canadian promoters. Several of his fans were arrested after a mini-riot erupted when local promoter ODC told them Nas would not be performing. In a post on GlobalGrind.com, Nas explains his absence:

“I had this show booked for sometime now and found it interesting to see St John’s, Canada since I never had been there, and heard great things,” Nas explained. “So we decided, let’s do it real quick and get warmed up for Rock The Bells! So, I didn’t expect no f**kery but was quickly reminded how things like this still happen to people in the game! [laughs] Bad business is bad business! Every now and again artists are asked to travel to another country to do their thing! But instead they arrive and are met by some strange people and instead of doing real business, these “JP’s” [janky promoters] are saying they have insufficient funds!”

New New preggers?

Say it ain’t so. More rumors abound as Lauren London allegedly prepares to give birth to Lil Wayne’s baby four months from now. This is the second time this rumor has come around, the first time happening in 2007. This time though, sources say Lauren has been laying low lately to avoid the unwanted attention and has even directed photographers at the Next Day Air premiere to only shoot her from the bust up. Hmmm, something’s popping. Let’s just hope there isn’t a sex tape, too.

Say It Ain’t So Nas & Kelis

We certainly hope this isn’t true, but the folks over at Bossip are reporting that Nas and Kelis, who are expecting their first child together, are headed for divorce.

In the months leading up to the pregnancy announcement, the couple was dogged by rumors that their marriage was in ruins. The whole baby thing seemed to contradict that, but, once again, the rumors pop up.
