Yamaha Shows Off The ’09s

A few of us recently attended the Yamaha showcase in NYC. The new R1 promises to be faster and lighter and has a few upgrades like a fancy new engine with a crossplane crankshaft - more linear power, improved throttle control and twin projector headlights.
