R.Kelly Has “Ladies Make Some Noise”
The Pied Piper kicked off his “Ladies, Make Some Noise” tour last night at the MGM Theatre at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut last night alongside Pleasure P. and K. Michelle. The undisputed King of R&B ran through his seemingly endless collection of hits all night long. The King of R&B also paid solemn tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson with a moment of silence. Following the moment of silence was a moving montage and tribute to Michael which included the famed footage of Michael and director Brett Ratner in a car jamming to “Ignition,” where you can peep after the jump.

R.Kelly Responds To Internet Statutory Rape Allegations
A representative of R. Kelly released the following statement in response to an inaccurate report on MediaTakeout about a supposed police search of his house in the Chicago suburb of Olympia Fields.
“A wildly exaggerated and inaccurate report has been circulating on the Internet that Olympia Fields police showed up at R. Kelly’s house with a search warrant just before the singer left for his three-week concert tour in Africa last month and then searched the place looking for a missing 17-year-old girl.
“This is completely false. No police ever showed up at Kelly’s house with a search warrant nor was his house ever searched. It is also not true, as the unsubstantiated report claimed, that any such girl ever stayed overnight in Kelly’s house or that she had been there but left shortly before some mythical police search.
“Kelly’s attorneys will cooperate fully with any investigation.”

Death of Auto-Tune Continues…

Live from the Death of Auto-Tune Warfront…
It seems Trey Songz was right when he said Jay-Z started something; Trey did his own version to the song with his Death of Kellz, a diss track to R. Kelly after hearing Kellz auto-tuned track. Other artists have also voiced their displeasure:
On the Wyclef ft Nick Cannon parody song, Mr. Autotune, Wyclef sings “I’m Mister Auto-Tune/if you sing off key/for a small fee I can make you a celebrity.” Listen to Mr. Autotune
Fans of music have also joined the war, with The DOA Team and PAAT (People Against Auto-Tune) Coalition creating a website to fight the cause. They state they have nothing against the actual Auto-Tune technology but would like the sound in Hip-Hop and R&B to go away. here’s the DOA website
Let’s see if their demands are meant.
We will continue to follow developments on the War on Auto-Tune.
