Return Of The King

Tonight marks the return of LeBron James to the big apple for his one and only trip to the Garden this year. When LeBron heads to Madison Square, he gets met with the treatment of a fan favorite despite being a visiting player, reason being is that Knicks fans are holding out hope that LeBron will be rocking the blue and orange next year when he is a free agent. Believe that all the stars will be on that sideline to watch the reigning MVP’s only appearance to the Garden this year until (possibly) the 2010 season.

Sneak Peak at “Just Wright” with Queen Latifah and Common

The Newark-Star Ledger were behind the scenes at Izod Center for Queen Latifah and Common’s new movie “Just Wright.” The movie also features Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, and most of the New Jersey Nets roster. In this movie, Queen Latifah stars as an NBA trainer, who nurses injured NBA player Common back to health. Hit the jump to check out the video.

Someone Help Stephon Marbury
Its safe to say Stephon Marbury fans have a reason to concern about the former Knick. Mr. Starbury video blogs as of late haven’t painted quite a healthy or sane picture for him. Now whether or not he is in fact losing his mind, or intoxicated during these videos is up in the air, but the fact is something IS NOT right with him. In all honesty it might be better for his image if he were strung out on something and go to rehab, oppose to him being insane as he’s been portraying.

Shaq Steals Draft Spotlight, Acquired By Cavaliers
Penny Hardaway, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, and now LeBron James. Shaquille O’ Neal has been acquired by the Cleveland Cavaliers, sending Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavolovic and cash considerations to the Phoenix Suns. News of the trade broke shortly after midnight, but was just made official this afternoon.
This deal sends shockwavese throughout the NBA with the Cavaliers adding a first ballot Hall-Or-Famer to a team which already had the the best regular season record in the NBA this year.

Nike and NBA Hall Of Fame face Lawsuits
Boston, MA, June 24, 2009 – SportsFuzion, Inc., a sportswear company and the exclusive licensee of the Basketball Hall of Fame’s sportswear has filed a lawsuit in Norfolk Superior Court in Massachusetts against NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) and the NBA Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame alleging breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, fraud, and other counts for general and punitive damages. The lawsuit comes after NIKE and the Hall of Fame conspired to eliminate SportsFuzion by manufacturing, marketing, and selling sportswear related to Michael Jordan’s upcoming Hall of Fame induction.
