“Lakers In Six” - President Obama
Well we know that President Barack Obama isn’t bad at predicting basketball champions, he correctly predicted that the North Carolina Tar Heels would win the NCAA Men’s National Championship. The president was on his way to the Marine One helicopter on the South Lawn on Tuesday when a reporter shouted a question. The topic: Who is going to win the NBA championship, the Lakers or the Orlando Magic?
The smiling president responded: “Lakers in six, I think.” In sports terms, that means the Lakers will win the best-of-seven series in six games, which kicks off Thursday in Los Angeles.
The avid basketball fan was on his way to a trip to the Middle East.

Dwight Throws Dem ‘Bows
In an NBA Playoffs update, the 23-year-old manchild and NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard, powered the Orlando Magic to a 91-78 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Behind 24 points and a career playoff high of 24 rebounds, Howard used his usual array of short jump-hooks and freakishly powerful dunks to push the 76ers to the brink of elimination. The Magic can clinch the series Thursday in Philly, however, they will be without the services of rookie shooting guard Courtney Lee and possibly Howard himself because of his own massive elbows.
