End Of The Road

It happens to all of our star athletes, some more gradual than others, but eventually one day they come to the realization that they are not the man anymore. The day that their mental capacity catches up to their athletic ability and they realize that they are not one of the more dominant physical specimens in the world any longer. There are plenty of our heroes who gracefully bow out and we remember them for their athletic achievements. There are the other group of those who seem to not have taken the hint, and once the fact hits them that they aren’t top tier anymore, it hurts all parties. It hurts us as fans to watch our heroes go down, it hurts the people who have invested time in money in the athlete, an of course it hurts the athletes themselves. Snoop Takes On Tyson

Snoop Dogg and Mike Tyson battled it out on EA SPORTS “Fight Night Round 4” on Xbox 360 last night in Hollywood. After Tyson lost the game to Snoop Dogg in four-round head-to-head match, he presented Snoop Dogg’s Youth Football League with a $5,000 check. After 722 days on the market, 50 Cent has taken his Farmington, Connecticut mansion out of the running for a new resident. The Hartford Courant reported that the 50,000-square-foot home’s asking price of $14.5 million was too much to attract potential buyers.

Mike Tyson’s Daughter Passes Away

Boxing champion Mike Tyson’s 4-year old daughter, Exodus, has died in a Phoenix hospital. A statement from a representative for the Phoenix Police Department has just been released:

I was just advised by investigators that Exodus Tyson was pronounced deceased at 11:45 AM today at the hospital. Our sympathies go out to the family.

At around 10:30am Monday morning, paramedics were called to Tyson’s home in Phoenix when his 7-year old son found the young girl with her neck caught on a cable attached to a treadmill.

Before her death was announced, Tyson released his own statement saying, “The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time.”

Our condolences go out to Tyson and his family.
