BET Hip-Hop Awards This Weekend In Atlanta

This weekend the world of Hip-Hop shall convene down to the ATL for the fourth annual BET Hip-Hop Awards. Hosted by actor and comedian Mike Epps, the show will tape on Saturday, October 10th at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlantic Civic Center and will premiere on the network on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 p.m. Kanye West leads the pack with an impressive nine award nominations, with Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne following close behind with seven, and T.I. with six. Appearances and Performances include Snoop Dogg, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Wale, E-40, Fabolous, Gucci Mane, Goodie Mob, Lil Scrappy, Dorrough, Monica, Tiny & Toya, DJ Khaled, DJ Drama, Trina, and Diddy.

Stars Come Out For Tupac’s Birthday

Today, Tupac Amaru Shakur would have celebrated his 38th birthday. To commemorate the legend’s life and observe his birthdate, Afeni Shakur will host a benefit concert in Atlanta that will not only honor Pac’s memory but also benefit the Tupac Amaru Center, as all proceeds from $25 ticket sales will go directly to the foundation.
