MJ Case Update: Custody Agreement Announcement Today
This morning on CBS’ The Early Show, Attorney L. Londell McMillan (Publisher of The Source) and representative of Katherine Jackson said that an announcement will be made today regarding the custody of Michael Jackson’s children— Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7. “Ending the whirling speculation on the best interests of Michael Jackson’s children,” he said, “Indeed, this important issue was our priority. The only unresolved matter is now the issue concerning the control and preservation of Michael Jackson’s properties under his estate. “
Now with this, the most important issue being addressed, the care and welfare of MJ’s children, Ms Jackson remains hopeful that the Temporary Special Administrators and the Probate Court can also address the need for her to have greater involvement with the decisions regarding the business affairs of the estate.

Exclusive: Bound by Blood Not a Written Contract: More on the Jackson case
No mother should ever have to bare the pain of burying her child. If he’s the King of Pop and his trust is potentially worth more than $1 billion, couple that mourning period with an intense legal battle where the so-called executors of your son’s estate are not forthcoming with information or willing to oblige your concerns. Things are sure to look suspicious, won’t they?

Legal Sparring Continues For The Michael Jackson Estate
Mrs. Jackson’s attorney L. Londell McMillan released the following statement in response to yesterday’s press release of Howard Weitzman, the attorney for the Temporary Special Administrators of Michael Jackson’s estate:
“Mrs. Jackson continues to serve as her son’s most trusted and loyal advocate even in death. In an effort to gain more facts concerning a suspicious circle of relationships, unnotarized will and an undisclosed trust, both drafted in 2002, which grant the executors and trustees thereunder very broad powers, Mrs Jackson has sought formal discovery of the Temporary Special Administrators of her son’s estate. The Court has made clear that it will consider Mrs. Jackson’s demand for expedited discovery, and all other serious issues relating to the estate, on August 3rd. We are confident that at that time the court will allow Mrs Jackson full discovery.

Exclusive: The Jackson Custody Battle Continues
After countless replays of Paris Katherine Jackson’s teary-eyed confessional at her father’s memorial, followed by her turning around to be consoled in the arms of the women of the Jackson clan, many wondered who would be left to raise Michael Jackson’s children in the aftermath. While Jackson’s ex-wife and the biological mother of two of Jackson’s children, Debbie Rowe, has yet to put her bid in for Prince Michael, 12; Paris Katherine, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7, Jackson’s final will leaves his children in the hands of his mother Katherine Jackson, at least temporarily court documents say. But keep in mind that before he died, Jackson also informally asked icon/actress/singer Diana Ross to raise his children in the event that he was indisposed or unable to do so himself.
Sadly and unfortunately, the custody battles rides out on the heels of Michael Jackson’s wake and upcoming burial with little time allowed for the family’s grieving process. But thankfully, today, the dark clouds surrounding this case are finally began to part. Representing the Jackson family, Attorney L. Londell McMillan said, “We are pleased that the child custody hearing has been continued over until July 20th to further our progress and allow us to privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner for the benefit of the children first and all involved.”

L. Londell McMillan Comments On Jackson Estate Case
“Mrs Jackson’s legal filings were to first, seek custody in the best interests of her grandchildren and second, prevent against granting the unfettered master keys to the kingdom of Michael Jackson’s estate and legacy without approval, and prior to his burial. Today, the Judge shifted temporary special administration to the proposed executors under the 2002 will filed with the Court until August 3rd. Of importance, the Court ruled that business during this period should be conducted with Mrs. Jackson’s involvement and that no binding agreements may be entered without her consultation and the approval of the Court.”
