“Next Day Air” hits theaters in two weeks. The Benny Boom directed flick will have drug dealing, gunfire, violence, sex, and every four letter word under the sun. There is one word however, that you will not hear uttered in the movie.

Next Day Air Delivers

Last night we went to the official first screening of Benny Boom’s first feature film Next Day Air and we must say, the flick was funny as hell. And many who were there — Angela Yee, AJ, among others— would agree.

Boom’s comedy proves that the director’s got more fire in the bag than we expected. All were impressed out the gate. Not only did the long-time video director who’s vid creds feature everything from Nas’ “Made You Look” to Keyshia Coles’ “You Complete Me” (and in everything in between) keep us thoroughly entertained by lacing us with some pure non slapstick comedy, he also managed to feature a complex mix of actors that we all love but hardly get to see.

Next Day Air stars Donald Faison, Mos Def, Wood Harris, Lauren London, Debbie Allen and a cast of newcomers that will keep you rolling for the entire two hour film. Be sure to catch it when it hits theaters on May 8th.

Space Balls: Donald Faison gets Extraterrestrial in Funny 4/20 Rap

Ladies don’t front, you know you’ve had a crush on funny guy, actor Donald Faison—who plays Turk on the Sit-com Scrubs, the bald-headed fellow doc and best friend of J.D. (Zach Braff)—since Clueless (he played Stacey Dash’s character Dionne’s boyfriend Murray in the 1995 teen classic).

You don’t need to wait until primetime to get a glimpse of Faison. He posted this video of him and his friends rapping about “Alien Weed” on Funny or Die in honor of 4/20.
