BET Hip-Hop Awards This Weekend In Atlanta

This weekend the world of Hip-Hop shall convene down to the ATL for the fourth annual BET Hip-Hop Awards. Hosted by actor and comedian Mike Epps, the show will tape on Saturday, October 10th at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlantic Civic Center and will premiere on the network on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 p.m. Kanye West leads the pack with an impressive nine award nominations, with Jay-Z and Lil’ Wayne following close behind with seven, and T.I. with six. Appearances and Performances include Snoop Dogg, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy, Wale, E-40, Fabolous, Gucci Mane, Goodie Mob, Lil Scrappy, Dorrough, Monica, Tiny & Toya, DJ Khaled, DJ Drama, Trina, and Diddy.

LA the Darkman Denies Stabbing Reports

Aphilliates Music Group president La The Darkman has issued a response to the various rumors alleging he was involved in an altercation at an Atlanta nightclub Wednesday night. Early reports regarding the altercation at Midtown Atlanta’s Luckie Lounge during a star-studded event early this morning (June 18), indicated that the fight might have been the continuation of a feud between La the Darkman and member’s of Young Jeezy’s label CTE.
