Cadillac Records Review

Cadillac Records tells the story of Chess Records, the legendary Chicago-based record label founded by a former junk yard manager named Leonard Chess. Chess Records was home to musical sensations Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, and Etta James. Taking moviegoers back to a time when r&b and rock music had a soulful sincere sound that moved the hearts and feet of segregated audiences everywhere during the 1940’s and 50’s. At times, howeverthe highly anticipated movie does not reach its potential to become a memorable end of the year film.
