Death of Auto-Tune Continues…
Live from the Death of Auto-Tune Warfront…
It seems Trey Songz was right when he said Jay-Z started something; Trey did his own version to the song with his Death of Kellz, a diss track to R. Kelly after hearing Kellz auto-tuned track. Other artists have also voiced their displeasure:
On the Wyclef ft Nick Cannon parody song, Mr. Autotune, Wyclef sings “I’m Mister Auto-Tune/if you sing off key/for a small fee I can make you a celebrity.” Listen to Mr. Autotune
Fans of music have also joined the war, with The DOA Team and PAAT (People Against Auto-Tune) Coalition creating a website to fight the cause. They state they have nothing against the actual Auto-Tune technology but would like the sound in Hip-Hop and R&B to go away. here’s the DOA website
Let’s see if their demands are meant.

iAuto-Tunes
If it seemed like everyone and their mama has been making music with Auto-Tunes before, now they really will be. T-Pain and Auto-Tune creators Antares are working on a new iPhone app which will put Auto-Tune’s vocal correction software on the iPhone making it possible for every untalented singer to correct their pitch, hit that unreachable note and sound like T-Pain doing it.
T-Pain will be contributing his beats to the project so iPhone owners can create their own Auto-Tuned mixes and possibly steal T-Pain’s job.
