So contrary to many reports by other new agencies, this is not true.

Core DJs takeover Atlanta
The Core DJ’s Retreat is going down in Atlanta, starting from today until Monday. Artists, producers and (of course) DJ’s from all the biggest labels (Atlantic, Def Jam, Warner, Konvict, Interscope, the list goes on…) have signed up for the event. Some of the items on the itinerary include listening sessions, panels, seminars and performances from some of the hottest new artists. And the timing couldn’t be better given where the industry is right now. Also, expect some crazy collaborations to result from this networking orgy.

Ludacris And Soulja Boy In ATL

The Source was in the house Saturday night, when Ludacris and Soulja Boy played a free concert to Atlanta fans following the 2008 SEC Football Championship.
The red carpet event at ATL’s Tabernacle, was open to the first 1,000 fans in line with a “mobile ticket” from AT&T. The communications giant hosted the concert and fans entered a contest for access via text message.
Before the event Soulja Boy said, “I receive an amazing amount of love from the South when it comes to supporting my projects — especially in college football games where I see some of the players and fans doing my dances when they score.”
Check out video here and images from the event after the jump.
