The 8 Year Anniversary of Aaliyah’s Death R.I.P.

8 years ago today one of the most celebrated and admired RnB artists of our time was killed in a airplane accident. Ready to return home from a video shoot in the Bahamas, Aaliyah and her crew boarded a plane heading for the states. Allegedly, the plane’s pilot had consumed cocaine and alcohol before the plane’s takeoff. In addition to frazzled pilot, the plane experienced an overload due to the equipment used to shoot the “Rock the Boat” video. After investigation, it was ruled that the overload caused the crash. Therefore, fans and family members only have Aaliyah’s last video to remember her by. Such a tragic lost, Aaliyah was a great young talent who left us too early. Perishing at the age of 22, Aaliyah Dana Haughton was unable to reach her full potential and/or experience the full height of her career. We just push for her memory to remain alive. We love and miss you R.I.P.

Rapper Juelz Santana Arrested For Death Threat

Rapper Juelz Santana was arrested outside his Teaneck home in New Jersey and taken into police custody earlier this morning. Allegedly, Santana threatened to kill his wife in front of their child at around 10:30 this morning. Despite the death threat, Santana’s wife was not in need of medical attention. The rapper was arrested on domestic charges and is still in police custody.
