Spike Lee Celebrates Michael Jackson’s Birthday In Brooklyn
The legendary Spike Lee invited the entire borough of Brooklyn down to Prospect Park (originally slated to take place in Fort Greene Park, but moved due to high demand) to celebrate the life and birthday of the one and only King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Fans of all ages came out to share there favorite Michael Jackson stories, moments, and music while DJ Spinna played Michael’s greatest hits the entire afternoon. Plenty of Jackson look-a-likes came out to pay homage to there fallen hero as well as some of his more famous fans in the borough of Kings. Ed Lover and Free of Power 105.1, 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan, and the Reverend Al Sharpton were just a few of the people who showed up to celebrate in the park.
