Chalk another hit up for Ice Cube. Despite a ridiculous storyline and clichéd feel good ending, Cube’s latest flick saw him take a backseat to Tracy Morgan who shines as crook Lee John. Thankfully, the overt church messages were minimal and scene stealer Katt Williams add numerous laughs throughout. Weeds:Season Three
Even with the death of one of the series’ best characters (R.I.P. U-Turn) the third season of this soccer mom turned D-girl brings a less dramatic take on the inner workings of the drug game. Instead of stinging social commentary that The Wire has made famous, we get the comedic takes on the pushers that get busted in suburbia. It has tons of audio commentary and a new list of marijuana recipes.
