Snoop, Red, Meth and The Dude Tear Down Nokia Theater

Last night at the Nokia Theater, the Doggfather of the West Coast, Snoop Dogg came through NYC and got massive amounts of love, especially for being decked out in Yankee apparel. Joining Snoop was Method Man, Redman and Devin the Dude. Each set was chock full of hip-hop classics. Before Snoop’s set, he re-enacted some movie classics such as “Up In Snoop,” “Snoopula,” “Snoop The 13th,” and “Being Cordazar Calvin Broadus.” Hit the jump for more photos courtesy of Paul Birman

The Clipse Live At Hiro

Last night at the Hiro Ballroom at the Maritime Hotel, The Clipse tore down the place along with Pill and Donnis on the undercard. There was some rumors that Pusha T. might have fired some shots at Jay-Z during a freestyle stating…
“To he to claims to be the heir, how dare Pusha nay say it/them n—-as hear me and they may day it/ so I could care less if Jay say it/its too too political when Jay say it/he play’ the game, just instant replay it. The Best Duo Ever, I hang man these words together…”

Undaground Railroad Showcase

Located at 48 West 21st street, Taj Lounge a club known for having some of the hottest parties in NYC. So it’s only fitting that the hotspot location would play host to the first ever Undaground Railroad Showcase. With The Source Magazine, M.O.V.E. and TY-KU as the host for the night, the crowd was expecting nothing less than what they got, raw Hip-Hop and R&B mixed with a night of ambiance equaling a hot night in the city. With DJ Fatfingaz burning the house down with smash after smash on the ones and twos, the buzzing crowd was ready for the show to begin.

Ghostface And Friends At The Hiro

Wednesday night at the Hiro Ballroom in NYC, Ghostface Killah and friends brought the house down to celebrate the release of his newest album Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry. Along with Myspace Music and Hot 97, Ghost ran through a slew of his classics along with some new cuts. A potential brawl on stage threatened to shorten the event, but the show went off without a hitch. Guests included Jadakiss, Trife Diesel, Kid Cudi, U-God, Large Professor, Redman, and more.
