Colbert Vs. Kanye: iTunes Battle
Comedy Central’s resident Bill O’Reily satirist, Stephen Colbert has declared war on Kanye West.
Colbert is urging his mock-servative, faux news followers to purchase A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!, from iTunes at exactly 5pm Wednesday (Dec 3rd) in order to oust 808s and Heartbreak from #1 spot as iTunes most downloaded album.
After the jump, check out Kanye’s response to Colbert via Twitter.

Martha Is Snoop’s Boo
When Snoop stopped by Martha Stewart’s talk show to make cognac mashed potatoes this week, we got the inside scoop on their friendship and if we suspect Snoop may have a little crush.
Before Snoop joined her in the “kitchen” Martha read emails he’d sent her after they met. In one email he told her he dug her style “for real- for real” and called her “Boo” (although Martha read it as “boo!”)
Check out the two comparing posses after the jump. Martha makes a play for Snoop’s bodyguards telling them, “I’ll feed you better than Snoop feeds you.”

When Gangsta Rap Goes Wrong

Bragging about your crimes on a track can earn you more than just street cred. That’s a lesson aspiring Georgia rapper Rico Todriquez Wright learned the hard way.
The 25-year-old was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a shooting he committed after he self-incriminated himself in a song. “He shot a man twice and felt so good about it, he wrote a song describing the shooting and called the victim out by name,” police said.
Chad Blue, the victim in the case, went to police after recognizing Rico’s voice on the track, hearing his assailant rap: “Chad Blue knows how I shoot.”

Did She Say Colored?
Yes, she did.
In a recent interview Lindsay Lohan talked about how happy she was that we’d elected our first colored president. Yes - colored.
She then went on to talk about her trials and tribulations with leggings fashion. Leave it to Best Week Ever to combine the theme of Obama’s campaign and leggings into a “Yes We Can” remix.

Justin Does “Single Ladies”
Justin Timberlake was neither the host or the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but he still managed to still the show. Popping up in this sketch with Beyonce and host Paul Rudd, Justin and SNL cast members perform their own version of the “Single Ladies” dance routine.

Yes We Can… Be Safe

Love all that wacky Obama merchandise that was everywhere during the campaign? Well, don’t fret, Election-mania 08 is still in full effect with The Obama condom.
The Obama condom is, according to the package, to be used “with good judgement.” The equal opportunity folks at Practice Safe Policy, producers of the Obama condom are also using McCain and Palin to promote safe sex.
The McCain condom is “old but not expired” and Palin’s rubber is for “when abortion is not an option.”
What no love glove for Biden?

King Of Da ‘Burbz On Palin
Whether or not you agree with Sarah Palin’s politics, you may think John Brown’s new song and video about the VP candidate crosses the line. Or, you could just think it’s really, really funny.

Just Die In It! Nike Coffin

Yes, this is real. Someone actually created a Nike coffin!
It takes a real sneaker freak to want to be buried in that forever.

Colin Powell Does Hip-Hop

This week former secretary of state Colin Powell, hopped on stage with Nigerian rapper Olu Maintain at the Africa Rising Festival in London.
Once on stage, the typically reserved Powell danced and even rapped. But it wasn’t all fun and games. Colin also spoke on the importance of acknowledging his heritage.
Colin told the crowd, “I stand before you tonight as an African-American. Many people have said to me you became secretary of state of the USA, is it still necessary to say that you are an African-American or that you are Black, and I say, yes, so that we can remind our children. It took a lot of people struggling to bring me to this point in history. I didn’t just drop out of the sky, people came from my continent in chains.”
