Posted: Mar 12, 2010 by Lee Kaplan
The Source, in association with SOB's and Prestige, a beer company which employs more than 8,000 Haitians, will be putting on a benefit concert for victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. The show will take place at S.O.B.'s on Friday, March 12th, with doors opening at 11PM. Performers will include: Talib Kweli Immortal Technique, Styles P, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Cormega, Bizarre Roayale, SF and Mr. Reo. Music will be provided by Lord Finesse and special invitations have been extended to Nas and Mos Def. The good people at S.O.B.'s will be taking the supplies down themselves as this is part of The Source's ongoing efforts to raise awareness and funds for the Haitian people, which include cover of the current issue. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on ticketweb.com. Come out and enjoy a great night of live hip-hop while supporting the people of Haiti!
If you can't make it out to S.O.B's tonight, stick around TheSource.com and we will be going live from the venue where you can check out all the performance for this great cause. Follow us @TheSourceMag on Twitter and you'll be up on all the updates. Be there.
