Standouts included the hip hop group Das Efx who captivated the crowd with their unique tongue twisting rhymes. Rap acts Chubb Rock, Sugar Hill Gang and Melle Mel received a warm welcome to the 30 and over crowd of hip hop heads. The party turned up a notch when Coro and his background dancers tore up the stage with their energetic dance moves.

George Lamond claimed he was tired before the first song, but danced up a sweat with his 2 male dancers representing his hometown Puerto Rico.

Expose vocalists Ann Curless, Jeanette Jurado, and Gioia Bruno kept the energy high performing their 1988 smash, ‘Let me be the one’. The trio announced they have “been together for 28 years” before belting out their hits, ‘Seasons Change’, and ‘Point Of No Return.’

The main attraction of the night—TKA destroyed the stage with their 6 pre-teens dancers, ‘The Iconic Boys‘. The ‘Kings of Latin Freestyle’ had the audience on their feet as they ran through renditions of ‘Come Baby Come’ and other hits from their classic album ‘Louder Than Love’

The last artist, Vanilla ice ended the show with his smash hit that “he wrote when he was 16-years-old and the song went on to sell 160 million records”. The crowd rapped all the lyrics to ‘Ice Ice baby’ closing the show and ending the night.

The Freestyle and Old School Extravaganza was a huge success and if you missed it this year we can guarantee you won’t want to miss it next year!
