Located at 48 West 21st street, Taj Lounge a club known for having some of the hottest parties in NYC. So it’s only fitting that the hotspot location would play host to the first ever Undaground Railroad Showcase. With The Source Magazine, M.O.V.E. and TY-KU as the host for the night, the crowd was expecting nothing less than what they got, raw Hip-Hop and R&B mixed with a night of ambiance equaling a hot night in the city. With DJ Fatfingaz burning the house down with smash after smash on the ones and twos, the buzzing crowd was ready for the show to begin.

Jersey rep Talonted was first on the scene and wasted no time turning the crowd out with his sharp punch lines, smooth flow and a slick delivery that got the audience amped up. The host for the night Mekka Don was next up attacking the crowd with excellent showmanship opening his set with a world premiere video and even adding background dancers. To close out the night, accomplished songbird Flo combined her original songs and classic R&B including a tribute to Michael Jackson that brought the house down.
