Grammy Nominated Group N*E*R*D* has added a new member to the team. She, yes, she goes by the name Rhea and brings with her a giant new voice to the group. While working on the new album Pharrell, Chad and Shae found that the music was demanding something fresh… they needed a female touch, so they committed to a worldwide search to discover the missing ingredient. After many months and many countries, they just didn’t find the right fit, until a few months ago. Pharrell was in the studio and a mutual friend suggested that he should meet Rhea. “Rhea came into the studio,” Pharrell explained “and everyone’s jaw dropped. This girl was definitely beautiful, but then I heard her voice and I was blown away.” Rhea is sure to be a big presence on the group’s next album, the group’s fourth but first with the new addition. The album, entitled “Instant Gratification” is scheduled for release in 2010. In the meantime, N*E*R*D* will soon join forces with Jay-Z and accompany him on “The Blueprint 3” nationwide tour. Be ready, N*E*R*D* is coming.
