Hip-Hop Odd Couples: Learning From Jay-Z and Oprah

We’re sure you’ve heard by now that Oprah kicked it with Jay-Z in the Marcy Projects in Brooklyn this past weekend. Reportedly, it will either be for O Magazine or for her show where Jay-Z would push his Blueprint 3 album to an audience he may have never reached before. Hip-Hop might also take it a lil easier on Ms. Winfrey who has previously been accused of being anti Hip-Hop by Ice Cube, 50 Cent and others. It seems like a mutually beneficial arrangement.

This got us to thinking about other odd-couples we’d want to see hook up. We think these parings could teach each other a thing or two…

Nicki Minaj & Monica Lewinsky- The OM (Original Mistress) meets up with her apprentice in the hoodest part of D.C. to compare notes on using the Prez to get on. And we all know Nicki’s got some jewels to drop on MoMo. Where the hell has she been anyway?

Joe Budden & John McEnroe- Neither one’s the type to muzzle their opinions, so when the cocky tennis star meets up with @mousebudden, someone’s gonna get served, and judging from the last few days, I can’t say who…

Nas & Octomom- At least the 50 stacks a month he’d pay her would be justified…

Rick Ross & Martha Stewart- Martha would show Ricky how to make a shank out of a toothbrush. Then Ross would confiscate it. Bawse!

Lil’ Kim & Joan Rivers- Too easy…
