Chris Brown Back In Court

Brown pled guilty back in June in the Rihanna assault case – and this afternoon, he will stand before a judge to be given the official verdict. More than likely, Breezy will be sentenced to five years probation and six months community service in his hometown of Virginia. Not only that, but apparently Rihanna isn’t too cool with the restraining order that had been placed against Brown (which prevented him from being within 50 yards of the pop songstress) and has reportedly requested a less restrictive order.
“If asked, we will tell the court that all that’s necessary is a level-one order: That Brown not annoy, molest or harass her,” Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra told PEOPLE. “No stay-away order was ever requested by Rihanna, nor did she ever believe it was necessary.”
We all saw the apology video and have watched Chris make countless attempts to redeem himself – even standing in for Drake on “Every Girl” after his injury on stage. But is all this being overshadowed by scandal? Can the media and his fans forgive him – especially seeing that Rihanna is pretty much over it? Only time will tell!
