Bad Boys 3?

Columbia Pictures is developing a third installment of the highly popular “Bad Boys” franchise. The previous two films have grossed $141 million and $273 million worldwide respectively and that type of success is what might bring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence & director Michael Bay back together for a third go around, but it also might doom the production from the start. Will Smith is possibly the most bankable actor in hollywood and would command a high salary; in Bad Boys, he made $2 mil and Bad Boys 2, he pulled in $20 mil plus 20% of the film’s gross, where as Martin Lawrence also pulled in $20 mil in the Bad Boys sequel as well.
But even though the budget might be high, it’s pretty safe to say that people will definitely go to the theaters to see these bad boys in action.

I think this is long overdue and I’m surprised they did not do a third when Will Smith was less bankable. Unless Will Smith wasn’t available at the time because he wanted to do his other films. But nevertheless I will be looking forward to this.

I think this will be good for the box office. Martin Lawrence, in my opinion, was the most humorous of the two. Will Smith did some outstanding acting but I feel Martin Lawrence was too comical and therefore made both movies hilarious. I’m already looking forward to Bad Boys 3.
