Exclusive: The Jackson Custody Battle Continues

After countless replays of Paris Katherine Jackson’s teary-eyed confessional at her father’s memorial, followed by her turning around to be consoled in the arms of the women of the Jackson clan, many wondered who would be left to raise Michael Jackson’s children in the aftermath. While Jackson’s ex-wife and the biological mother of two of Jackson’s children, Debbie Rowe, has yet to put her bid in for Prince Michael, 12; Paris Katherine, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7, Jackson’s final will leaves his children in the hands of his mother Katherine Jackson, at least temporarily court documents say. But keep in mind that before he died, Jackson also informally asked icon/actress/singer Diana Ross to raise his children in the event that he was indisposed or unable to do so himself.

Sadly and unfortunately, the custody battles rides out on the heels of Michael Jackson’s wake and upcoming burial with little time allowed for the family’s grieving process. But thankfully, today, the dark clouds surrounding this case are finally began to part. Representing the Jackson family, Attorney L. Londell McMillan said, “We are pleased that the child custody hearing has been continued over until July 20th to further our progress and allow us to privately and amicably resolve this most important matter in a dignified manner for the benefit of the children first and all involved.”

The kids should just stay with their grandmother. Blood is thicker than water and they might appreciate having family around.
