This is going to be a battle to remember so since Mos Def put his team out there, then I think Jay-Z should link up Ludacris, Game, Jadakiss, Immortal Technique. All those MC's can handle them self freestyle beast on the mic. As for Kanye West his team would have to be different he would need someone to handle Mos Def like a Talib Kweli, and then everyone wants to see a Jay-z vs. Nas again Pt. 2, as for Black thought I could see Common going head to head with him, for the last person to compliment his team I would give it to Sheek Louch. this would be something really nice to see and hear, The DVD will kills the market as for more to come like this will hit the streets hard, but there can only be one winner in each battle who ever wins there record sale will go thru the roof, well u kno what happens 2 the loser. But alot is at stake so we shall see if any of those heavy rollers will respond...

[...] - Mos Def re-issued his challenge to battle Jay-Z and/or Kanye West in a five-on-five battle royal. This intriguing challenge would take place in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans in December, with a $10,000,000 pot ($5,000,000 of it going to charity). Big money! The proposed undercard will include a Marching Band battle featuring Morgan State vs. Grambling, a DJ Battle between Kid Capri vs. Biz Markie, a breaking crew battle featuring Korea vs. France, and a battle of the beats between Kanye West and Swizz Beatz. The main even would culminate with the 5-on-5 battle with Captain Mos and his team of Jay Electronica, Nas, Black Thought of The Roots, and MF Doom. Either Jay-Z or Kanye West would captain a team of four other emcees with the proceeds going to charity - via THE SOURCE [...]
