The legendary group has the number one album in the country today. Quest’s lauded November 11 release We Got It From Here… Thank You For Your Service, their “last album” and first opus in 18 years pushed over 130, 000 units, with 112,000 of those in actual sales. Tribe now holds the record for longest stint between number one albums with their Beats, Rhymes and Life going number one in the summer of 1996.

Over the weekend, Tribe’s Q-Tip and Jarobi along with Busta Rhymes and Consequence were on hand for the street dedication ceremony for Phife Dawg. Phife, who passed away in March had his name immortalized right on the block where he grew up as “Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor Way” was made a street at the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 192nd street. Phife’s name is now hanging right below Linden Blvd.
