Today, Tupac Amaru Shakur would have celebrated his 38th birthday. To commemorate the legend’s life and observe his birthdate, Afeni Shakur will host a benefit concert in Atlanta that will not only honor Pac’s memory but also benefit the Tupac Amaru Center, as all proceeds from $25 ticket sales will go directly to the foundation.

Along with Shakur’s mother, the idea came into being with the help of Mike Epps who will also act as the concert’s host along side M-1. The concert will be held at Tupac’s Center for the Arts and includes a line up of Big-Boi, Dungeon Family, Playaz Circle, Bun B, Lil’ Scrappy, Yung LA, B.O.B, and Eightball and MJG.

During Pac’s life, his influence through music and words had the oppurtunity to capture the hearts of millions while owning the spot as the best from the West. Opening the doors of Hip-Hop expanding his song concepts as well as context, Pac isn’t simply a legend but was a leader in his era as well as decades later.
