Eminem believes Hip-Hop is in good hands

Seems like Slim Shady is happy with the current state of Hip-Hop. Eminem was recently on 106 & Park and spoke highly of of B.o.B, Kid Cudi and Asher Roth.

do you agree with Em, is Hip-Hop in good hands with the new generation?

Personally, I think hip hop can improve a lot… now days everyone seems like everyone is rapping about sex or drugs…

I do not think hip hop is in good hands, cats today are not making music meant to last… I still can jam to old school hits, but I quickly get tired of the music put out today.

I PERSONALLY HEARD THESE NEW RAPPERS RECORD. ITS PRETTY GOOD, ALTHOUGH HE FORGOT TO MENTION DRAKE! SO I GUESS HES RIGHT ABOUT HIP BEING IN GOOD HANDS.

THEY MUSIC IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

I personally think Asher Roth sucks, and I don’t know who the fuck the other two are. But I think dudes like Slaughterhouse, Saigon, and some of the dudes on the west like Ya Boy, K Dot and Jay Rock are gonna push out alot of these dudes. Its already starting to go back to lyrics not these faggot ass dance songs.

It is what it is. Hip-Hop can’t be f*ck’d with, could never die, fall off or be manipulated. Real hiphop fans knows what’s really good.

I’m not sure if that is an accurate statement. where’s the consistancy? That’s what’s wrong with the game now. There are toooooooo many one hitter quitters. Good music yes, consistant we will have to see. And labels are looking for trend followers not trend setters so…messed up but that’s how it is now. We will see
