On Tuesday night, Drake brought the house down at S.O.B.’s in New York City for the Hot 97’s “Who’s Next” concert series. But by all the sold out concerts he’s had already, Drake isn’t who’s next, he’s already here! Drizzy’s fan base is pretty crazy, it was more than just a bunch of teenage girls hoping to catch a glimpse of the Degrassi TV star turned rapper/singer. In the audience were some of the entertainment industry’s elite: Kanye West, MC Lyte, BET’s Stephen Hill and Warner Music Group COO, Julie Greenwald just to name a few. The stage was lit, the venue was packed and Drake definitely put it down. From the smooth sounds of his R&B track “Brand New” to the trancelike flow of “Uptown” (which he performed with Bun B), fans were definitely musically satiated.
