Wiispray: Graf For The Wii
The Nintedo Wii has been at the forefront of game innovation ever since its introduction. First came the nunchuck controllers then a fitness scale and now… a spray can? Almost.
Martin Lihs, a grad student at Bauhaus University, has created the Wiispray. It is a project independent from Nintendo but it might as well be, considering its originality and non-traditional game play. It is a virtual ‘spray can’ that is capable of ‘painting’ graffiti on a canvas.
Of course, a real writer will tell you ‘there’s nothing like the real thing’. But Lihs acknowledges that and contends that he seeks to spread appreciation for the art, not replace it.
