Southern Playalistic: Bun B on Why the Game Still Belongs to UGK

When Bun B enters a room, there are no cameras, handlers or security. He doesn’t need an entourage of yes-men to reaffirm his position as an Underground King. He is simply a living legend, walking above the haze of superficial trappings the industry affords artists of his height. When he speaks, it becomes obvious that his thoughts are beyond where he is right now in this moment. And that no matter what, his love for the streets that made UGK what they are today will always come along for the ride.

After whoever reads this reply, don’t get mad because it is the TRUTH! BUN B IS THE HOTTEST MC IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW! PERIOD! People be talking bout Jay-Z, Eminem, Naz,Lil’ Wayne & Kanye. HA! Give Bun the mic & let him do his thing. Any true listener of hip hop can tell u that. As far as I am concerned bring any mc out there & put him in the booth with Bun and watch him get embarrassed. And just like the rest of you that are closed-minded and thik that New York is still running the hip hop game, BOY STOP! Come on down and get some of this Southern Hospitality and see what’s really going on down this way. Oh yeah this goes out to all the doubters & haters of the South. Find me some emcees to match lyrics with the likes of Bun B, Pimp C(R.I.P.) Outkast, Eightball&MJG, and I will guarantee you that they will go home with their tails tucked between their legs like a mutt. Straight out the Georgia Woods! SmithvilleSlickhill4Life!
