Mac’s Slim Competition

The decision between PCs and Macs just got a little harder for crowd looking for ultra-portable, ultra thin Notebooks. Dell has now entered the arena with their 4 lb, 13.4 inch Adamo notebook which sits just a little over half an inch tall when closed, making it a prime competitor for the Macbook Air.

The basic model carries a hefty price tag starting at $2000 and running up to $2,700 for a top of the line machine. Boasting Intel core 2 duo processors, 2-4 gigs of ram, a 128 gig solid state hard drive and windows Vista 64, the Dell Adamo serves as an equally matched Windows counterpart to the Macbook Air.
