Washington DC is known for its historical landmarks, however, our capital’s best-kept secret is 23-year-old Lauren Speed. The 5’9’’ Afro-Caribbean is proven more than a triple threat and a force to be reckoned with.

Now residing in Detroit Michigan, the talented beauty refuses to be limited to modeling. At an early age, she dabbled in pageantry and trained in dance techniques ranging from ballet to Hip-Hop.

According to Lauren, “Most people describe themselves as triple threats. I say I am a fiver. I sing, act, dance, model and consider myself a media talent.”

In addition to a cinnamon complexion and cover girl beauty, Lauren also brings a love of sports to the table, admitting she is “not scared to get sweaty.” Lauren loves to stay active by doing yoga and playing basketball. Do not let the sweet innocent face fool you, Lauren also recently started kickboxing. Along with a sexy tomboy demeanor, Lauren has an incredible sense of humor believing “one of the best stress relievers in life is to laugh.”

Having the ability to cause accidents, (she admits a man was almost hit by a car while running across the street to holler at her) Lauren’s career will continue to flourish. She is currently getting ready to receive a degree in Theater Arts and Electronic Media. While thinking beyond modeling, Lauren hopes to produce her own television show and publish a magazine. At the speed Lauren is moving, she is sure to leave competition far behind.
