Best and Worst Of 2008 Style
2008 may not have been a particularly prosperous or peaceful year, but it for damn sure was full of noteworthy style. From the emergence of America’s new style icon, to the style trend we most want to leave in ‘08 - we give you the year’s biggest style figures, trends, and moments.
5. Geek steez - Thank you Kanye. Thank you Jigga. The thick-framed glasses, teeny-fros, dad sweaters and flashback prom suits of this look scream, “I’m so cool, I can get away with this.”
4. Robo-Beyonce - What to do with your look when you’ve been glam, retro, hood and sex kitten? If you’re Beyonce, you go hi-tech-robo-fierce. The key accessory for this look was a Lorraine Schwartz-designed titanium glove.
3. 80s and 90s Fashion - Throwback Hip-Hop track suits and classic kicks are hot but, unless you’re reenacting Flashdance, legwarmers are unnecessary.
2. Michelle Obama - Whether in H&M, J.Crew or Narciso Rodriguez, our new First Lady looks fabulous and sparks trends. Mrs. O definitely emerged as a style icon in 2008.
1. Men in skinny jeans - If you’re old enough to get into a night club, you’re definitely too old for pants that need to be held up. However, it’s best that you find a happy medium between that and the legging-like jeans that several rappers took a liking to in ‘08.

I think the skinny jeans look is okay, I prefer the in the middle skinny, depending on the guy is how skinny the jeans should be. I think baggy jeans are deffinately out now.

the skinny jeans are ugly, Wayne really over did it with the red ones he wore in his video . I agree i think they should be loose fittin just comfortable and no not the ones that arebig enough for you another person to fit into. And Kayne should be on the list for “worst style in 2008″ . He’s talented but he either hired the wrong stylist or he doesnt know how to pick clothes out cause he was lookin quite horrible on the American Music Awards..
