In 1994, Hip-Hop culture was much less about glamour and glitz. Just check the wardrobe for this video!

I miss these times, I haven’t seen a rapper yet who dresses humble. If you look at K. West, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z they where stuff that the common listener cant relate to. Dam I remember the Cream video by Wu-Tang, that really related to the listener. Plus the clothing the rappers wear now and day are expensive.

First of all i just wanna say nas is wack, and yes we could take all of the glitz and glam out of hip -hop just a little I think wearing normal thing that the common human being wears is just fine. If they want people to look up to them they need to meet us half way and try to be on our level at some point why not dress more common. The only difference between them and us anyway is money and fame.

Nas is nice. He always have a song on his album with some lines about historical events. Some songs off his previous album are still relevant to our society today. “I know I Can” is the perfect theme song for the historical election of this year.

nas is something serious, bottom line. imagine hip hop without his contributions???? thought so!
