Play Dat Soulja Boy

In response to this video on YouTube, entertainer and famed ringtone composer, Soulja Boy was offered a deal to star in his very own video game.

Soulja was contacted by numerous game production companies offering to digitize the 18-year-old club star in his very own title shortly after the YouTube vid went viral to numerous gamer blogs and fan sites. The whole chain of events is similar to the way his homemade YouTube video for “Crank Dat” landed him a record deal.

There is no word yet as to which company acquired the project or in what direction they’ll take the game; What would you do in a Soulja Boy game anyways? Dance?

Soulja Boy’s untitled project is expected to drop next year, the same year as 50 cents 2nd video game: 50 Cent: Blood and Sand

The follow up to his 2005 title - 50 Cent’s Bulletproof, allows gamers to play as 50 as he and members of G-Unit, “battle their way across two war-torn countries on a mission to collect payment from a crime cartel boss” according to the developers, THQ.

the premise it this, a big fat white guys waves a dollar at you and tells you to jump, then you jump, then he tells you to duck and you have to duck then he gives you the dollar and you buy a chain or some shit. The you have no money and do it again for 10 levels until the big fat white guy finds someone else who will jump higher or duck faster, then your stuck back at lvl 1 with no money. and Sonic the hedgehog is the boss of the first stage.

Soulja Boy is just wack no way around that. But, his wackness just proves that anyone can make money and live the American Dream. If this no talent boy can make loads of money AND get a video game to himself then anyone can do anything. As long as you are willing to conform to what other people want you to be. Hip-Hop is art, and art is supposed to inspire thought and expand your mind. But this foo does nothing of the sort. What is Hip-Hop coming to?
