Louis V Tag Shoes & Bags

A Spring 2009 Louis Vuitton collection will feature graffiti and rose motifs inspired by late rebel fashion designer Stephen Sprouse who, in the 80s, took to hand painting graffiti on many of his pieces. Before his 2004 death, Sprouse collaborated with Louis Vuitton creative director for a 2001 collection.

Check out a bag from the collection after the jump.

Big Mike… i do know not as much as i would like about fashion, but if you take a look at the trends (right or wrong, who knows) by which people follow, these make sense. all one needs to do is look up images of Kanye (he considers himself to always be high fashion) and you will see the high top and occassionally patent leather.

Kiki… thanks for your opinion, i wont look for you to be wearing these shoes, but there will be more than enough people that WILL wear these.

vnessa… i have no problems with your comment, but i regret to inform you that it may be a little unlikey that youll be receiving a free pair… but if youre cute, i will buy you some ;-)

Ghost… do not tell people how to spend their money

truhood… the whole point of business is to make money, so why would it matter if LV is making products directed at “young kids”? also, their product diversification makes it possible to offer different products for adults.

fb916… there are not many products (maybe one or two a year) LV produces that are considered “so f’n gay, ugly, and ridiculous”. LV is paying hommage to a person they respected.

sorry, i didnt mean to personally attack anyone and would welcome the opportunity to discuss whatever…

I could care less about those who WILL wear the shoes, I deffinately won’t and I know a lot of people who won’t . Besides I said the bag was cute, who cares about the shoes, i’m not one to rock pink anyway so already I don’t like them. But thats just my opinion.

The LV bag and shoes are hot! I cannot afford to wear this but I damn sure would enjoy watching someone else wear this. The design is fresh and youthful.

If you want something unique and not mainstream…
These artists have some awesome and unique printed bags also. Great urban rugged feel. Octophant-half elephant half octopus, owls, and kitty with skulls.
Check them out :

They don’t have a vast selection of bags, but carry other stuff as well by independent artists. Seem to have pillows, art prints, shirts, etc. all at reasonable prices.

The sneakers look similar to a pair I’ve seen on the Dereon website. The Dereon sneakers cost a lot less of course and look good.
