damn i missed it. But on a serious note, i think UNDASTUD is right with what he said. mainstream hip hop is dead, all that gangsta/pusher shit, 50 and rick ross and the like rhyme about is dead and gone with, not as many people are still feelin that shit. Rap city could have used a healthy dose of underground MCs because they’re the only ones still making real hip hop, and not that ghostwritten, cookie cutter market formula tracks the big labels force their artists to pump out.

i’m frum thu durty and i feel sum uv thu shyt ya’ll speakin on, we known for thu clubs round here, not too much of thu lyrical content of hip hop. this younga generation along wit thu media & record co.’s pushes this nu era of hip hop. rap city will 4 eva be n my heart, i got vhs tapes wit classik interviews from all the host, every day after shcool i had to get home and record rap city, like goin to church er sunday, it was a ritual. don’t blame thu souf tho. it’s whut theez kids like now days, but that’s where we come in and school them on what real hip hop iz. it’s up to the 80’s and 90’s gens to keep hip hop movin’, keep it on wax, freestyle battles, grafitti, break dancin’ all that shit bip.
