Dallas’ Real ATL Diss

If you watched the first season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which just ended Tuesday, you walked away with one question. Not, “Who the hell does Sheree think she is?” Or, “Just how old is NeNe’s husband?”

If you’re anything like us, you’ve got to be thinking, “How on earth did Kim get Dallas Austin to produce her album?” Well, it looks like she didn’t.

On Monday, Austin posted a blog to his MySpace page denying that he was working with the “singer” who made a fool of herself on the series when she sang first with a vocal coach, whose suggestions she dismissed, and then with Dallas, who was clearly less-than-impressed. In the blog entry Austin said there is no album or son and that his “work” with Kim was “only for television.”

As if that wasn’t enough, Austin has changed his MySpace profile name to “Dallas Austin is NOT working w/Kim! THAT WAS 4 TV!” - talk about sending a message!

We just wish this had happened before the reunion was taped. We’d love to see how Kim would’ve responded!

I loved this show. Kim cannot sing for sh!t. Her voice is garbage and will continue to be if she doesn’t quit smoking soon. If she comes out with an album and sells well, this would be a slap in the faces of many struggling singers, especially the good American Idol rejects.
