WUT!!!!???? WE DONT SUPPORT OLD SCHOOL ARTISTS LIKE ROCK FANZ!!!!???? DONT U MEAN U DONT SUPPORT OLD SCHOOL ARTISTS LIKE MANY PEPLE DO???? HIP HOP IS JUS LIKE ANY OTHA KIND OF MUSIC. IF da fanz realy like a certain old school artist dey will support dat artist no matter wut. Homie, itz all bout da luv. Da old school artists may not get a lot of radio play. But dey get a lot of fan support from cd sells, or jus listen 2 da music in da streetz cause u allways hear more of da old school artists new cd’s more than most of da newer artists. I NO MANY of PEPLE and dey SUPPORT da old school ARTISTS ALL da TIME jus like i do. AND KillaCali916, WUT DO U MEAN ICE CUBE’s MUSIC IS “OK”???? Cause his cd (RAW FOOTAGE) is 1 of da realist cd’s in da hip hop game. And it is a grate cd 2 cruews 2.

Big daddy kane will always be true hip hop. Too bad new school hip hop doesn’t compare to old school’s hip hop. If it wasn’t for our old school hip hop stars, there would be no hip hop today.

hip hop generates to much income from ringtone sales and one hit wonder club bangers for the music that really made the culture to ever return. Gotta give respect to cats like BDK, cause now, his music from back in the day is the only real hip hop we got now.

the true elements of hip-hop have been forsaken/It’s all contractual and about money-makin.

KillahCali that was funny. He had a hot track on Jazzy Jeff’s album. What I meant really was that these old school cats should still be able to perform their hits from back in the day to sold out crowds like the rockers not necessarily have new songs. We do not support them enough cause trust me, them old schools cats know how to rock a crowd…shit, they invented it.

E-40 is a legend in the bay….not on the East where the Crowns rest their heads….his flow is annoying on most tracks but on some he kills it; he reminds me of Aesop Rock. I guess it’s a matter of taste. there is new shit out there u have to dig and download. Raw Footage…incredible!!!! makes me want to bring Huey P. back.

KillahCali. “Raw Footage” isn’t like da rap u thinkin bout. Itz jus like da old school rap dat u, myself and many otha peple like. Ice Cube made dis cd 4 da streetz, or as i like 2 call it da REAL HIP HOP HEADZ. AND u sound like a REAL HIP HOP HEAD. I think u should check CUBE’S cd out. Oh, and i luv E40. He is another hip hop legend in da game who keepz it real.

All hail the Legendary Big Daddy Kane. He truly was the best in the 90’s and he music is still just as good in the 21st century. My brothers played his casette tape every day when they were teenagers. When I listen to his album and the albums of other old school rappers, it makes me want to throw away some of the mixtapes with this meaningless crap that these new artist are putting out today. Those were the good old days!
