50 Speaks On Album Delay

First people said it was the recession that was forcing 50 to postpone the release of his fourth-coming album Before I Self Destruct. Then it was that he wanted to give the fans more content. Well Fif has finally spoken up. He tells MTV that it’s “just the positioning.” Not really the definitive answer anxious 50 fans were probably hoping for as they wait three more months til the new February 3rd release date.

The guerilla leader of G-Unit is just not happy with the lack of material that has been released prior to his albums drop saying in the interview: “I’m just looking for the opportunity to present more of my material. It’s [“Get Up”] not the strongest effort on my album; it’s just a great start for me.”

50 knows a little something about the elements that make an album release a hit considering his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin, almost went platinum in its first week alone with over 800k units sold - his two subsequent releases were received equally as well.

50 cent is a smart man and you can’t blame him for that. I definitely think 50 cent is waiting until the recession calms down. He knows that he can make more money if he waits for the economy to get back on their feet. He’s not stupid….Smart move……….

I agree with most people who cares if his album drops on time or not. Fifty is not ike he used to be his fan base is not that great he needs to step it up the only great thing he did was get rich or die trying what happened after that idk.
