I was on line for hours with some friends and Marlo Stanfield, I mean Jamie Hector was walking by he looked like he was about his business as usual, they were calling him over to the “Red Carpet” but when we started calling to him he stopped and talked to us, took some pictures. We was trying to get his number but he just told ua to make sure we vote. Damn I know this is all about Obama, and I will be the first to cast my vote, but Jamie is SEXY!!!! But back to the point, It’s past time for a change, VOTE

I’m from Philly. I woke up this morning with excitement and a joyful feeling in my bones. I have a 8 year old daughter whom I took to the polls with me. I let her push the button for OBAMA, and then she proceeded to press the green VOTE button. I wanted her to experience this historical event. So when she become a parent she can tell her children she was there with her mother voting for our first African-American President. She was very excited and was smiling as we walked out. This is very important. We need everyone to get out and exercise there right to vote. My grandparents and great grandparents didn’t fight and struggle for nothing!!! LETS DO THIS! BARACK THE VOTE!!!

Success! We got Obama in the White House! Now newly registered voters can see that their votes did count in this election, especially when voting for a president who is probably the only one who represents us and has had first hand experience with issues that hit close to home in our communities. It will also make new voters believe that eventhough some elections may not be fair, we, the people have the power to change the election process. We just have to be persistant and believe that there is justice on our side.

I love the new direction of the Source! With the new direction of America as we know it, it just makes sense that the Source magazine, under the direction of L. Londell McMillan, takes a more prominent role in ensuring that our youth are informed and educated about what’s going on in the world in addition to what’s going on in the hip hop community! I love it and can’t wait to see the next issue!

Hip-Hop Horay for the source magazine remaining the top hip-hop Publication.

I think its a vote that will make progress to unite a whole nation regardless of race. people who never took it upon themselves to vote are ready to vote. Young, black, white, old, I even read an article in the local newspaper where a older caucasion man admitted being a racist but still intends to vote for Obama. So as long as hip-hop continues to shed positive light on the Nov.4 election change will occur.
