Diddy Buys Enyce

Diddy’s Sean John company purchased Enyce for $20 million - less than a fifth of what the company was sold for in 2003 when Liz Claiborne snatched the urban brand up.

No word on what Diddy, a longtime fan of the Enyce brand, plans to do with the label.

Diddy is the man, he own a lot of stuff, clothing lines, music, his own scent. Diddy is who everybody wants to be, he is about his money which I admire a lot. All those who hate him are just mad they can’t be like him.

What makes this so smart? He bought a brand that was probably doing as bad as his Sean John. I am not sure if that makes sense. But you can compare this to Sears buying Kmart.

Dont get it wrong, I am a Diddy fan, but not on this issue.

I wonder if he’s going to incorporate Enyce with the sean jean brand like putting “Enyce by Sean Jean”. I also wonder why Liz Claiborne bought Enyce. I find that to be an unexpected business connection.
